WHO WE ARE?
JP Comfort Home is a new group home for supporting children and young persons in respects to their rights and responsibilities.
Our goal is to help children and young persons navigate through our social system, striving to achieving independence.
We will cultivate an environment in the home that will respect culture, diversity, and respect all. This will be done by following ministry guidelines and principals. We hope to promote independence and prevent homelessness.
It is our vision for children and young persons to be recognized in value for the self determined goals and individual plan for their future.
Through this framework, our children and young persons are seen as functioning participant in their own lives, having the ability to guide themselves through their own community and beyond it.
It is our mission to provide a comfortable space where children and young persons are supported to have a stable and inclusive life tailored to their individual needs.
We depend on promoting and building partnerships with families, employees, mentors and the community to resourcefully shape the direction and enriched the children and young persons that we serve.
Our values are at the center of how we work to enrich the lives of the children and young persons we care for.
At our core these children and young persons give us the motivation to look inwardly and act outwardly towards making our home a place to pursue a self-guided an well supported life.

We value the richness of the community and the diversity within in it. In our home we create a welcoming space for all people acknowledging and appreciating their differences and uniqueness as a strength that can move us forward to a brighter tomorrow.

Learning from our mistakes is how we achieve growth and strive to be better everyday. We actively share ideas and support each other to expand and improve the quality of care we deliver to the people we serve.
